We would love everyone to experience Tathra Beachside, but we understand that from time to time things change and you may need to reschedule or cancel your reservation. Please read our cancellation policy below.

1.     COVID-19

For all bookings affected by government restrictions, including those completely pre-paid, you can postpone your stay without a cancellation fee or any penalty. If your booking is for a School Holiday Period, or for a special event period, you can now book the same period next year and we will also price FREEZE your tariff. 

If you choose to cancel your booking due to uncertain times, and given your cancellation meets the guidelines in our policies below, the full credit can be held to use any time in the next 2 years. We’ll continue to closely monitor the situation and our policy will continue to evolve where necessary.

2.     Postponement

If you change the dates and reschedule your booking, and this meets the guidelines in our policies below, your entire deposit will be transferred to the new booking and this will not attract a cancellation fee. Alternatively, the current booking may also be transferred to a family or friend with no penalty.

3.     Low Season (May, June, July & August)

During the low season, deposits will be refunded if the park is notified at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival. A cancellation fee of $50 per site or $100 per accommodation unit applies.

4.     Mid Season (Sept-April, excluding school holidays, long weekends & special event periods)

Deposits for reservations made wholly or partially in mid-season will be refunded if you notify the park at least 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival. A cancellation fee of $50 per site or $100 per accommodation unit applies.

5.     High Season (all school holiday periods, long weekends & special events)

Deposits for reservations made wholly or partially in high season will be refunded if you notify the park at least 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival. A cancellation fee of $100 per site or $200 per accommodation unit applies.

Deposit Requirements

To hold your booking, a deposit of 50% of the total cost is required by the due date, unless you choose the payment plan option offered on your tentative booking letter. Please note, bookings are automatically cancelled if the deposit requirements are not met. Call us immediately if you have not received your booking emails, or the details need to be adjusted. Check out the travel insurance offer that is emailed to you upon booking (this is an independent agency).

Early Departures

We do not refund should you cut short your reservation or holiday.

Failure to Notify of Cancellation

If you do not notify the park of your cancellation or if you do not arrive by 10am on the day after your scheduled arrival date, your reservation may be cancelled by the park without refund.
