Wharf to Wharf Walk - Tathra to Merimbula

https://www.wharftowharfwalk.com.au/
  • This 27km coastal walk starts and finishes at two of Australia's most historic wharfs, Tathra and Merimbula.
  • It's a fully independent walking experience with a comprehensive series of track notes produced to assist the independent walker and able to be printed out or downloaded to a mobile device via the official Wharf to Wharf Walk website.
  • The walk links existing trails through public coastal reserves, flora reserves, beaches and Bournda National Park, providing a connected walking experience along the stunning coastline between Merimbula and Tathra.  The walk will feature dedicated signage and totems to guide the walker along their journey
  • The experience can be undertaken as two or three single day hikes; an overnight hike, camping at Hobart Campground in Bournda National Park; or for the those short on time, but not energy - a day hike.
  • Walkers have an opportunity to contribute to local environmental knowledge and records by participating in the Atlas of Life in the Coastal Wilderness citizen science project during their hike.
